Biography
Stewart Glen
Stewart is a 60-year-old Canadian BFA (Drama) graduate of The University of Calgary, Class of 1990, that came to Taiwan in 2000, exhausted and completely defeated by the pauper life of trying to be an actor in Vancouver.

Mr. Roat in Wait Until Dark
The 90's
The raison d'etre was simple: to produce professional theatre in the resort town of Whistler BC to rival
Canada's Stratford Festival.
Theatrically, he was enjoying many successes.....in Vancouver: A Jessie Award (Vancouver's Tony) winning producer and nominated actor, coupled with casting calls for episodics like The X Files and The Outer Limits were in abundance.
Alas, never landed that all-important first gig.
Whistler-wise, after 9 years of banging head against wall, Stewart finally adapted, directed, and produced a very meaningful Romeo and Juliet to address his concerns over the tragic events in Columbine, Colorado. It was an unheralded triumph.
Lesson Learned: Whistler Dream over
TAIWAN
Being featured as Dr. Patrick Manson in SEQALO, Formosa 1867 is a crowning achievement in more than 30 years of "never giving up".
A career resurrection took place upon attaining an APRC in 2007 as dozens of commercial gigs soon followed. When Brook Hall came a-knocking offering the co-lead in his production of Wait Until Dark, Stewart and The Theatre were officially reunited.
Thrice directing 4-Hour Play Festivals and twice producing (and acting in) White Rabbit Red Rabbit events, he will soon be co-starring with Michelle Kao and Sharon Landon in the TAS AP Film studies short film Cheddar.

POST PANDEMIA
TIME TO REDEFINE
Connecting with Jamie Huss and subsequently, with the company of artists you see before, are solely due to Jamie's brilliance with the pen.
We, to a thespian, are sworn to do all we can to see that Jamie writes his version of each and every play Shakespeare...
"wrote?"
The Post Pandemic Renaissance Theatre Company is just beginning to take wing from the ash heap of lockdowns. Please join us in the process of creating Art. We can only rehearse so much. At some point, we need the most important directorial and dramaturgical "notes' of all: Audience Feedback.
Please join us.
