
Biography
Michelle Kao
Michelle is an obsessive creative in constant pursuit if self-expression through different artistic mediums. She has starred in multiple short films, stage plays and does production design for short films and music videos. She's a visual artist, singer and songwriter.

Actor
Michelle first took to the stage back in high school and college, paying leads in musicals West Side Story and Leader of the Pack. More recently she played Amy in Stephen Belber's play, Tape, directed by Brook Hall.
She has starred in multple short films with TAS Film, including Portraits alongside her Tape costar, John Brownlie. Portraits reveived multiple nominations at the All-American High School Film Festival. She will be starring in the short film Cheddar with Stewart Glen, Artistic Producer of PPR.
In 2021, She performed Nassim Soleimanpour's White Rabbit Red Rabbit in Taipei. She also completed the first year of training at the Mesner Studio Taipei.
Visual Art and Music
Beyond the world of acting, Michelle is a visual artist and musician.
Michelle is formally trained as a visual artist and educator and teaches art to high school students. She also does production design for short films and music videos, primarily for TAS Film and Meimeiwawa Multimedia.
In 2020, she self-released her debut album Wallowland.
