Biography
James Lewis Huss
James is a playwright and teacher from South Carolina where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, Writing Intensive. He then earned hiss Master of Arts in English at Northwestern State University in Louisiana.

Teaching
James has taight English Literature and Language in the USA, China, Bolivia and most recently in Taiwan, where he oversaw the publication of his school's first literary journal.
Writing
James primarily considers himself a poet and has been published over two dozen times in literary magazines and journals.

In 2015, he self-published a satirical blank verse epic called Out of the Water. But James has also explored other genres and has won recognition for his research in Bolivian folklore. in 2016, his YA novel Book of Pilgrimage was published by Elephantine Publishing Company.

TIME TO REDEFINE
In 2020 with the composition of his first play, Shahespear's Robin V, James created a new literary genre - the 'mock renaissance tragedy'. These five-act plays in blank verse exploit the conventions of classical tragedy, but with a comedic and often satirical twist.
With a canon of plays but little opportunity for production, James was inspired to launch a new era in literature and drama. Thus was born the Post Pandemic Renaissance.
