Emily's most recent stage appearance in Taipei was at the 24 Hour Redeye Theatre Festival. Her play little moons was most recently produced at Taipei Shorts II. In 2019, Emily co-founded the small film production company Lil Swimmers Productions and her latest film project with them, the web series Existential Crisis Club, will be dropping later in 2021.

As an artist Emily collaborates across cultures, making ensemble and experimentation-based work that provokes social questions and is emotionally grounded. She's currently writing two plays: a queer international love story set in 1920s Shanghai and an absurd reality TV-inspired dramedy.
